Caring for handmade toys: simple tips to keep their charm for a long time

Every handmade toy contains a bit of warmth, time and love. And although it is durable and made of high-quality materials, gentle treatment is the key to its long life. Here are some tips on how to properly care for handmade textile toys:

1. Cleaning - only gentle. Do not put the toy in the washing machine - this can ruin the shape, filler or decorative details. It is best to carefully clean dirty areas with a damp cloth or soft sponge, and dust with a sticky roller for cleaning clothes.

   
   

2. Dry naturally. After cleaning, do not use a hair dryer or battery - the toy should dry naturally, in a well-ventilated place.

   
   

3. Avoid excessive touching. This is not a toy for active play, but rather a decorative item. It is best not to give it to children under 3 years of age or to use it only under adult supervision.

   
   

4. Protect from the sun. Direct sunlight can discolor fabrics, so it is better to keep the toy in the shade if it is part of the interior.

   
   

5. Storage - in a dry place . Do not hide the toy in polyethylene. It is better to store it in the original packaging, where it can "breathe".
