What helps you not to lose inspiration?

Sometimes inspiration comes by itself – without an invitation, without a schedule. It can take you by surprise: with the morning light in the workshop, with a new roll of fabric, with a cup of coffee, when there is silence around and you are alone with your thoughts. And sometimes – it suddenly disappears to the bottom... And then it seems that everything has stopped. That you no longer feel that inner light for which you started.
But I learned not to be afraid of such moments. Creativity is not an endless flight, it is breathing. Inhalation is when ideas fly, and exhalation is when you just need to stop and be in silence.
In recent years, when everything around us is unstable, when it is difficult to call a day "ordinary", maintaining a creative spark becomes a special challenge. But it is she - small and gentle - who helps to hold on.
It helps to remain yourself, to keep warm inside.
On days like these, I allow myself a pause. I don't put pressure on myself, I don't chase results. Sometimes it's enough to simply organize the materials, arrange the buttons by color, or slowly sew one small element - without a plan, without a goal. Just let your hands work. Because it is in your hands that the answer often lives, even when your head is silent.
Inspiration returns through touching beautiful things: a favorite ribbon, new fabric, a beautiful box with accessories. Through words of support - when one of the customers writes "thank you" or sends a photo where my toy has already become a part of someone's story. Through a change of rhythm - new music, different light, even different tea can move things along.
When it seems like it's "not the right time"... I get a message - "Lana, will there be something new? I really need something warm, cozy to warm my soul..." And the wounds of the soul heal from warm words and the thought that it's not just you who needs it...
My greatest inspiration is my beloved readers and customers, who help me remember why I do this. Not for algorithms or recognition. But to create something good. Warm. With a soul.
Inspiration is always there. Sometimes it's just quiet. And then you don't have to look for it, but be ready to meet it when it comes back.
